Interesting - did you have to load the HD driver Dell of course would be happy to charge me but I'm just looking for hints. Hardware diag indicates no problems. Hi Skip,. I had some trouble with this though it was a few months ago so I'm a bit fuzzy on the details , but I seem to remember having to search for version of the driver online.
Whatever the error was that I was getting it may have been a blue screen error, from what I remember , I took the details and popped it in Google and I think that helped me find the correct driver. On a separate note, the official graphics card drivers were made available a couple of months ago, which solves that problem somewhat. Mind you, they're far from perfect I keep meaning to try out different drivers from laptopvideo2go to see if they help, but I've not had a chance yet.
But at least the machine is humming away as we speak Ah yes, now I remember - that sounds very familiar. I think I installed my driver using a USB flash drive, so that method would work too.
